As a history professor fascinated by Poland's rich past, my stay at Pod Teznia provided a convenient location to explore nearby historical sites. The owner's accommodation towards our late arrival was appreciated, reflecting Polish hospitality. The room's heating ensured comfort on chilly evenings, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. However, the limited TV channels in Polish may not cater to all guests. The absence of free Wi-Fi in public areas could deter some travelers seeking connectivity. The lack of on-site parking may inconvenience those arriving by car. While the hotel boasts a bar/ lounge area and restaurant, enhancing the overall experience, the restricted services like no pets allowed and no smoking on-site may impact some guests' choices. Pod Teznia strikes a balance between value and luxury, making it a reasonable option for those seeking a modest yet comfortable stay in Poland.
